Campagne

Fodor's Review:

The white walls, picture windows, snowy linens, fresh flowers, and candles at this urbane restaurant overlooking Pike Place Market and Elliott Bay evoke Provence. So does the robust French country fare, with starters such as seafood sausage, and calamari fillets with ground almonds. Main plates include panfried scallops with a green-peppercorn-and-tarragon sauce, cinnamon-roasted quail served with carrot and orange essence, and Oregon rabbit with an apricot-cider-and-green-peppercorn sauce. Campagne is open only for dinner, but the adjacent Café Campagne serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
