Chambered Nautilus

Fodor's Review:

A vivid red door fronts this Georgian Revival home, which overlooks an ivy-covered hillside. In the large living room, a fireplace flickers onto classic Oriental rugs, free guest computer, and sideboard stocked with cookies and tea. Bedrooms have down comforters and such attractive extras as sleigh beds, fireplaces, and private porches. Among the best quarters are the Scallop Chamber, trimmed in khaki and green; the Rose Chamber, with its vivid floral motifs; and the Sunrise Chamber, with its yellow walls and blue-and-white bedding. Three-course breakfasts might include roasted pears with caramel sauce or individual crustless quiches in ramekins.
