Just west of I-5, the Seattle Hilton is a popular site for meetings and conventions. The rooms are tasteful but nondescript—you'll be paying a lot for a brand name here, reliable though it may be. Some rooms do have views over the city to Elliott Bay in the distance. Providing excellent views of the city, the Top of the Hilton bar-restaurant serves well-prepared salmon dishes and other local specialties. An underground passage connects the Hilton with the Rainier Square shopping concourse, the 5th Avenue Theatre, and the convention center.
