Mayflower Park Hotel

Fodor's Review:

In a historic building, the Mayflower Park is like a smaller, less-showy version of the Fairmont Olympic. The bi-level lobby has brass fixtures and a few antiques, but it's more of a comfortable pause than a grand statement. Guest rooms are decorated in a similarly classic style, and standard rooms are on par with what you'd expect from any good mid-range chain; deluxe rooms are a little more interesting. All rooms have nice bathrooms with large mirrors and pedestal sinks. Standard rooms are on the small side, but the Mayflower Park is so sturdily constructed that it's much quieter than many modern Downtown hotels. The property is connected to the Westlake Center by a corridor, and it has its own star restaurant, Andaluca. Oliver's, a well-known martini bar, is popular with the older set for its perfectly poured drinks.
