Book NowAlexis Hotel Review
Aesthetes and modern romantics will adore the Alexis Hotel, which occupies two historic buildings near the waterfront. Using slate gray, soft blue, taupe, and white against exposed brick, walls of windows, and nouveau-baroque touches, the Alexis has updated its look while maintaining a classic feel—the palette may be modern, but the ornate leather chairs and wood-burning fireplaces recall a different era. The Alexis has always had a focus on art (including a rotating collection of artwork selected by a Seattle Art Museum curator in the corridor between wings), and that tradition continues in the rooms as well—all have unique works of art. The property has 10 different types of specialty rooms in addition to themed suites. The Alexis Suite is hard to ignore: it's a full-blown two-bedroom apartment with two baths, a skylight, and exposed-brick walls. Downstairs, the Library bistro is one of the city's favorite lunchtime hideaways and bars.

It is an older hotel. The executive suite is great. Large living area. Blocks from everything. Plenty of bars, dining, shopping, and sight seeing. Best of all, the Alexis allows pets.
Service is stellar as well. If you are used to the Four Seasons for room "features" or furniture then move along. Otherwise this is a wonderful hotel.
