Fodor's Review:
The People's Pub is a Ballard institution and a great representative of what locals love about this unpretentious neighborhood. The pub (a dining room and a separate bar in the back) isn't much to look at -- just a lot of wood paneling, simple wood tables and chairs, and some unfortunate floral upholstery -- but it has a great selection of German beers and draws a true cross section of the neighborhood's denizens from hipsters to old-school fishermen.
