Fodor's Review:

The People's Pub is a Ballard institution and a great representative of what locals love about this unpretentious neighborhood. The pub (a dining room and a separate bar in the back) isn't much to look at—just a lot of wood paneling, simple wood tables and chairs, and some unfortunate floral upholstery—but it has a great selection of German beers and draws a true cross section of the neighborhood's denizens from hipsters to old-school fishermen.

specially if ya like German food! the brats are really good and so is the sauerkraut! my buddies and i go and play crazy 8's alot. i am not into beer that much but they do have a large selection on tap.
