Blue C Sushi

Fodor's Review:

Black banquettes, young sushi chefs, and a giant projection screen showing quirky Japanese TV shows and music videos make Blue C suitable for discerning hipsters, but it has become a true neighborhood haunt, attracting families, friends, and first dates. Despite its trendy interior, this place is lots of fun—just try suppressing a grin as colorful plates of nigiri, sashimi, sushi rolls, and tempura dishes chug past you on a conveyor belt. Simply grab whatever looks good. The color of the plate indicates the price of the dish; your server tallies your bill when you're done. This place gets packed on weekends, but there's an upstairs bar to wait in or you can opt for takeout. The daily happy hour (4-6) is one of the best deals in town—you can get $1 sushi in the bar, with the purchase of one beverage.
