Fodor's Review:

The 35th Street Bistro replaced the vaunted Still Life Cafe, which was the epitome of all things Fremont back when the hood was more hippie than yuppie. Although the white tablecloths, good wine list, and the generic bistro-ness of the place suggest that Downtown has moved in uptown, the ghosts of the Still Life must still linger—this place is as casual as some of Fremont's less-flashy eateries, service goes beyond warm into personable, and organic foods populate the menu. The menu is seasonal, but roasted chicken, lamb porterhouse, and fresh seafood are usually on it.

Very good food, well prepared, friendly and competent service, good wine list. Though off the beaten path, if you're in the area, it's a must for bistro food.
