El Puerco Lloron

El Puerco Lloron Review

This funky, cafeteria-style diner perched on the Pike Place Market "Hillclimb" (a flight of stairs between Pike Place Market and the piers along Elliott Bay) has delightful open-air terrace seating perfect for sunny days. It's also got some of Seattle's best and most authentic Mexican cooking—simple, tasty, and inexpensive. Try fresh tacos filled with pork, chicken, or beef and spiked with cilantro and salsa. More ambitious highlights include perfect chiles rellenos (mild green peppers that are breaded, stuffed with cheese, and fried) and a flavorful guacamole. This is a fantastic spot for a casual lunch after a morning stroll at Pike Place Market.
