Marion Oliver McCaw Hall, home of the Seattle Opera and the Pacific Northwest Ballet, is an opulent, glass-enclosed structure reflecting the skies. Inside, walls are painted in the hues of sunsets and northern lights; outside, on the piazza, occasional evening light shows are projected onto 30-foot banners dangling above a pond. (Hint: If you're not here for a performance, head atop the parking garage across the street and catch the light show for free.)
