Though the Sheraton will always be a powerhouse hotel, it's not one of our favorites. It may have filled a luxury hotel void at one point, but as Seattle's hotel boom brings eye-popping new places like Hotel 1000, the Sheraton seems less and less worthy of the expense. That said, you could do worse: the large, quiet accommodations are decorated in warm, honey hues, with plush carpets and bright Chihuly glass-art accents. A stay in the top five floors of either tower provides complimentary concierge service and breakfast, as well as views of Elliott Bay and Lake Union. Unfortunately, the hotel annoyingly charges for some amenities, like Wi-Fi, that should absolutely be free when you're spending so much on a room. Overall, the hotel caters primarily to business travelers and people attending events at the nearby convention center.

Although this hotel had mixed reviews, we chose to stay there during our recent visit to Seattle for business. The hotel was very, very nice. Rooms were great, service was amazing, food was very good and the location cannot be beat. We stupidly switched to the Fairmont after our conference was over, thinking it would be nicer, and we wished we had stayed at the Sheraton the entire time!

One of the best hotels I have stayed at.Easy walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Staff was fantastic, helpful, and very professional. We come every year to seattle and have tried many hotels this is 10 out of 10!
