The developer of this property is a boater and an architect, and his predilection and profession are reflected in the exposed-concrete-and-metal construction, porthole windows in bathroom doors, and the clean lines of the fountains and pools. Grasses and smooth river rocks enhance the landscaping. Public spaces are more interesting than guest rooms, though rooms do have attractive bathrooms and space-saving closets accessible from two sides and big operable windows that let in lots of light. One of the most unique features of the hotel is its "Ala Cart" menu, from which you can request a rolling cart filled with games or other goodies, depending on the theme; for example, the poker cart gives you all the accoutrements needed to start a serious game from the chips to the felt tabletop.

Love this hotel and try to stay here whenever I'm in the Seattle area. Free parking and easy access off and onto the freeway is a major plus. Not far from downtown and although they don't have room service they do have a variety of restaurants that will deliver.
