$$-$$$, Downtown
Fodor's Review:
In the heart of Downtown, this former bank headquarters is a comfortable business-oriented hotel convenient to the shopping and financial districts. Service is warm and professional; the public spaces have high ceilings, tall windows, and dark-wood paneling. Lining the lobby are sitting areas with couches and overstuffed chairs upholstered in olive green and aubergine velvets and brocades. Guest rooms are midsize and are attractive enough, though decor in standard rooms is only a small step above standard chain motel; they do, however, have pillow-top mattresses, something you won't find in every chain. Rooms on the executive floors, 17-20, have exquisite views of Puget Sound or the city skyline.
