W Seattle Review

The W Seattle is like an aging hipster—it once set the bar for Seattle's trendy hotels, and, although its cool has been recently eclipsed by newer properties like Hotel 1000, it still thinks it can reel in the stylish with minimal effort. That being said, it's a decent choice for a boutique hotel with hip and reliable luxury. Custom-designed board games encourage lingering around the lobby fireplace on deep couches, and the hotel's bar is popular with guests and locals alike. A renovation to the fitness center will please exercise buffs. Decorated in black, brown, and French blue, guest rooms would almost be austere if they didn't have the occasional geometric print to lighten things up a bit. The beds are exceptionally comfortable with pillow-top mattresses and 100% goose-down pillows and comforters (allergy sufferers may request hypoallergenic pillows).

We've stayed here twice and love it. The service is always friendly and consistantly good. Although I liked it the moment we entered the lobby from valet, I fell in love when we entered our corner room. Great views of the city through huge windows. I could spend hours on the chaise in the corner just watching. The bed is everything you would expect from Westin... Amazing... even the linens were great. Room service and the restaurant totally deliver the goods as well. All I can say is Great Great Great!!!
