On a tree-lined street near Volunteer Park, this 1909 Tudor is surrounded by gardens. The first-floor living room is filled with comfortable furniture and lots of natural light; it also has a grand piano. Each unique guest room is appointed with collectibles old and new. The Capitol Suite has a pine four-poster, a carved oak fireplace, and a view of the Space Needle; from the floral-theme Iris Room you can see Mt. Rainier. Several rooms have hideaway beds in addition to the queen-size beds that are the norm. The Iris Room and the Cabin Room share a nicely appointed bathroom. The restored carriage house provides larger quarters; upstairs, the former chauffeur's quarters now serve as a cozy loft.
