Book NowInn at Harbor Steps Review
Just steps from the waterfront and Pike Place Market, this inn is sure to please those looking for a B&B feel with hotel amenities. Although it's on the lower floors of a modern high-rise residential building, the decor is quaint and country, with lots of florals in the guest rooms, country-manor plaid armchairs in the lobby, and wicker furniture in the library. Guest rooms are large, with high ceilings, gas fireplaces, and tidy kitchenettes. Bathrooms have large tubs and oversize shower stalls. The complimentary breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious. Hors d'oeuvres, wine, and tea are served each afternoon in the library.

This trip was in July 2011, for just a few days. We have been to Seattle several times before.
Major points about the hotel:
- The location is extremely convenient to the Pike Place market and to the waterfront and ferry terminal. There are a very large number of dining options in an easy walking distance.
- Breakfast and a small happy hours are included. They are convenient, but not exactly gourmet.
- The rooms were nice enough, and great for the price compared to other downtown options.
- Parking is challenging, but I don't recommend a car in Seattle unless you plan to drive out of town. You have to stop in the unloading zone in front of the building, run in, and get a parking pass for the garage.
- Adequate business center for email, boarding passes, etc.
