Inn at Harbor Steps

$$-$$$, Downtown

User Rating: **** 4.4

Fodor's Review:

Although it's on the lower floors of a modern high-rise residential building, this inn has a country quaint theme, with lots of florals in the guest rooms, country manor-looking plaid armchairs in the lobby, and wicker furniture in the library. Guest rooms are large, with high ceilings, gas fireplaces, and tidy kitchenettes. Bathrooms have large tubs (some of them whirlpools) and oversize glass-enclosed shower stalls. A breakfast buffet is served in the dining room. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres, wine, and tea are served each afternoon in the library.

We loved this hotel, but were a bit disappointed not to have the whirlpool or fireplace as we were housed in an ancillary set of rooms. The main rooms are advertised with these amenities. However, the decor was lovely and the location was unbeatable for downtown access to Pike Place and the ferry boats. Good value for downtown. Very B&B-like.
