Comfort food at a comfortable price is the name of the game at this popular little restaurant. The emphasis is on fried foods such as tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet) and kaarage (breaded boneless chicken), but the nabe (cabbage soup) is also quite delicious. There are only two types of sushi on the menu—California roll and a battera (mackerel and sweet rice stuffed in a fried tofu pouch)—and neither is available at lunch.
