Fodor's Review:

Chef-owner Philip Mihalski's ever-changing menu focuses on coaxing maximum performance from the freshest of seasonal regional ingredients. Employing broadly European techniques, Mihalski creates such dishes as seared sea scallops with a curry cream sauce and shavings of black truffle over a puree of cauliflower, and poached halibut in Kaffir lime broth with roasted spring onions. Suggested appetizers include a fantastic onion tart with hazelnut butter and Jerusalem artichoke chips, and seared foie gras in duck broth over a puree of turnips. The outstanding service makes up for the somewhat forgettable interior, the best feature of which is peekaboo views of Green Lake.

Nell's is a quaint restaurant on beautiful Green Lake. It offers a small focused menu, great wine list and phenomenal service (Thanks Brenda). Definately worth the trip. Our next trip to Seattle will include a stop to Nell's. We might even get Brenda to sing for us!
