Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market Review

Pike Place Market, one of the nation's largest and oldest public markets, plays host to happy, hungry crowds all year round, but summer is when things really start to heat up. Strap on some walking shoes and enjoy its many corridors: shops and stalls provide a pleasant sensory overload—stroll among the colorful flower, produce, and fish displays, plus bustling shops and lunch counters. Specialty-food items, tea, honey, jams, comic books, beads, and cookware—you'll find it all here.

Pike Place Market is a definite must-see for anyone traveling to Seattle. All the action of the fish market, as well as the other locals selling flowers, jewelry, food, etc. There are also several restaurants inside the area, visit Athenia Restaurant to see where Tom Hanks and Rob Reiner sat to film part of Sleepless in Seattle.
