Fodor's Review

Tom Douglas's restaurant perched next to Pike Place Market has views of Victor Steinbrueck Park, which he is working to clean up and revivify. Etta's is the happy medium between the pricey, sleek Downtown restaurants and the established yet lovable standards. The Dungeness crab cakes have always been one of Douglas's specialties and they are a must, as are the various Washington oysters on the half shell or the Coho salmon with Douglas's signature "Rub With Love" seasoning. Leave room for a slice of heavenly banana cream pie. Brunch, served weekends, is perhaps the best meal to enjoy here—it always includes zesty seafood omelets, but the chef also does justice to French toast, eggs and bacon, and Mexican-influenced breakfast dishes such as huevos rancheros.

Etta's Seafood Review

A nice, but not great restaurant. Friendly seafood place with friendly service. Food is good, wine list is OK. A good Sunday evening dinner out but definitely not a destination.

Delicious!

We loved Etta's. The shrimp spring rolls are fantastic and the crab cakes are not to be missed. The only thing I would do is be sure to ask for a quieter table (there is no quiet area in the restaurant!) We were first seated at a very busy table and ended moving when a better one opened up. Be sure to make reservations. Enjoy!
