The Seattle Seahawks (800 Occidental Ave., Sodo. 425/827-9777. www.seahawks.com) play in the $430 million, state-of-the-art Quest Field. Single-game tickets go on sale in July or August and all home games sell out quickly. Tickets are expensive, with the cheapest seats in the 300 section (where you actually get a really good view of the field) starting at $42. Note that traffic and parking are both nightmares on game days; try to take public transportation if possible.

Almost as popular as the Seahawks are the UW Huskies (University of Washington, 3800 Montlake Blvd. NE, University District. 206/543-2200. gohuskies.cstv.com). The team plays at Husky Stadium, a U-shape stadium that overlooks Lake Washington, so you can arrive by boat as well as by bike, bus, or car. Tickets are $30-$65 and go on sale at the end of July.
