Marine Science Center Review

Right along the shoreline and the edge of Liberty Bay Park, the Marine Science Center is raised above the water and jam-packed with exhibits of local sea creatures. An inter-tidal touch tank lets kids feel anemones, sea urchins, and starfish, while other displays house crabs, jellyfish, and plants. Puppets, puzzles, murals, and videos help youngsters learn more about what they see. Don't miss the giant Pacific octopus in a 2,000-gallon tank beneath the center. A small gift shop fronts the building, and the museum provides special activities during Poulsbo festivals.
