A classic white clapboard home built in 1886, Manor Farm Inn is the heart of a 25-acre farm. White walls, rough-hewn beams, and wide windows generate tranquillity in the spacious guest quarters, which are appointed with French country antiques. Two rooms have wood-burning fireplaces, and one is a loft. Each morning a four-course breakfast awaits in the charming "Rabbit Hutch," decorated with a collection of lagormorphs; afterward you can stroll by the pond or visit the barn and chicken coop. Pros: Real country feel, fun setting. Cons: Few amenities. The inn also hosts and caters for special group events.

We never even made it here. I had purchased a gift certificate from the previous owner who said use it anytime in our lifetime. I was unaware of a change in ownership when I called about using it. Granted, this was several years after we had purchased it, as I misplaced it a couple of times. I explained this in the 1st message I left. I had to call 2 more times before I got a return call. When I answered the phone, she was yelling! A simple, "sorry we can honor it" would have sufficed. Her site says 'you will be welcomed like a treasured friend'. Hah! She's the rudest person I have ever encountered in the hospitality industry. I surely don't need to spend time at a place with someone who is grumpy and angry.
