Salish Lodge

Book NowSalish Lodge Review
The stunning, chalet-style lodge sits right over Snoqualmie Falls. Eight rooms have gorgeous views of the cascades, while others have a river panorama. All the luxurious quarters have featherbeds, fireplaces, whirlpool baths, terry robes, and window seats or balconies. The world-famous spa offers relaxing and purifying treatments after a day of kayaking, golfing, or hiking. The elegant Dining Room restaurant serves such eclectic delicacies as wild Scottish partridge, herb-crusted John Dory fillet, and potato-wrapped elk loin; weekend brunches are elaborate. In the cozy and more casual Attic bistro, you can still sample fine Northwest wines and views of the falls beneath the eaves. Note that if you pay an extra $15 nightly resort fee, you'll have such privileges as valet service, 24-hour Wi-Fi, and unlimited access to the soaking pool, sauna, and fitness facilities.

Salish Lodge Restaurant
Made reservations by phone 3 weeks before my birthday and upon arrival staff could not locate my reservation. They acted like it was non-existent! No birthday greetings were given nor acknowledgement of it. The waiter was very unprofessional and scatter-brained. Service in general was not prompt, no one inquired if we needed anything. No option was given for a birthday dessert, nor were any greetings given. The waiter obviously did not take his job seriously and virtually ignored us most of the time. We had been promised a window seat which was not provided in this relatively uncrowded restaurant. The food was good, but the service and hospitality was deplorable. This restaurant was not what we had expected. Very disappointing hospitality and service. I will think twice about coming back. I cannot recommend this place for others. Not worth the money spent!
