Pick up park maps and pamphlets, permits, and activities lists in this busy, woodsy chalet; there's also a shop and exhibits on natural history. Several short interpretive trails and longer wilderness treks start from here.

Open: Sept.-June, daily 9-4; July and Aug., daily 9-6:30
