Freestone Inn Review

At the heart of the 120-acre, historic Wilson Ranch, amid more than 2 million acres of forest, this upscale mountain retreat embraces luxury along with the pioneer spirit. The massive log-cabin inn houses spacious rooms and suites, enhanced with gas fireplaces, mini-refrigerators, and balconies or patios overlooking the hot tub and Freestone Lake. Two suites feature jetted tubs and five include full kitchens. Wood-paneled cabins snuggle up to Early Winters Creek; some have fireplaces and decks over the water. The inn also houses a cozy library, a Great Room with a two-story river rock fireplace, and a restaurant specializing in upscale Pacific Northwest cuisine and Washington wines. Groomed trails cross the property, and many activities can be organized.
