Fodor's Review:

The Tennant Lake Natural History Interpretive Center, within an early homestead, has exhibits and information about nature walks. An observation tower allows for bird-watching from an eagle's perspective, and the elevated boardwalk takes you right through the marshes. The lake is part of a 624-acre habitat where bald eagles, ducks, beavers, muskrats, and other wildlife can be seen. The Fragrance Garden, an herb- and flower-laden pathway, is lined with interpretive signs in English and Braille.

  • Cost: Free
