Settled into the 19th-century, barn-style Big Haus, this museum evokes pioneer days in the Cascades. The riverside grounds, where Arabian stallion were once put to graze, now host Audubon programs that take advantage of plentiful bird sightings. Exhibits highlight the lives and times of the Field family, local Native American tribes, and other prominent residents of Leavenworth and the Upper Wenatchee Valley.
