Campbell's Resort

Fodor's Review:

This sand-colored apartment-style resort sits on landscaped grounds alongside Lake Chelan; it's been open for more than a century. Every room has cooking facilities and a balcony or patio with lake views. Two-bedroom cabins with a kitchen and porch are on the east side of the property, near the marina. The elegant House Café ($-$$), with hardwood walls and a nautical feel, serves Northwest fare and wines in an elegant atmosphere; the second-floor Pub and Veranda, with views over the lake, dishes out simpler meals. The park-like, family-friendly setting includes pristine beaches, picnic areas, barbecues, and lots of room to romp. Pros: Lots of activity, but also tranquil spaces. Cons: Kicks into typical vacation-condo mode in high season.
