Surrounded by soaring pines, this cabin-style country lodging is the only park accommodation open year-round. Walk into a cozy room with alarge stone fireplace, where you can warm up and dry off mittens in winter, then head up to cedar-paneled rooms with wrought-iron lamps and antique bentwood headboards. Simple American fare is served in the restaurant ($-$$). Note: The inn is operated as a B&B from November through April. Pros: Comfortable, cozy, great backcountry ambience. Hallways can be noisy and cold; bathrooms can be busy.
