Fodor's Expert Review The GG Walla Walla

922 Bonsella St., Walla Walla, Washington, 99362, USA

This luxury inn a block from Whitman College was opened in 2022 by twin sisters, Connie and Karrie, who bought the 1909 Arts and Crafts–style mansion that previously operated as the Green Gables Inn and quickly set out to transform it with their new vision of social connection and showcasing their art and antique collections. It sits among flowering plants and shrubs on a quaint, tree-lined street and offers five freshly decorated guest suites. The LV Suite has its own Louis Vuitton trunk (Carrie is a collector and her Louis Vuitton items are lovingly displayed throughout the house), while the Green Suite pays homage to the house's original owners, the Greens. The unique Beverly Hills–style Cabana is for groups, with four double beds and a kitchenette. Guests are welcomed with a glass of champagne and tour of the home, and can arrange the services of the on-site chef for dinners if they'd like.
