Townshend Cellar

Fodor's Review:

A drive to the Green Bluff countryside about 13 mi northeast of downtown leads wine lovers to this small winery and its tasting room. Open since 1998, it's already won awards for its cabernet sauvignon, and also makes merlot, chardonnay, syrah, port, gewürztraminer, and chenin blanc. Berries from nearby Idaho are used in huckleberry port, blush, and sparkling wine.

  • Cost: Free
