Eastern Washington University Review
Tree-shaded Eastern Washington University has six original buildings on the National Register of Historic Places, but most of the 300-acre campus consists of post-World War II concrete-and-glass structures. The Gallery of Art (509/359-2493) has changing exhibits of works by local and nationally known artists throughout the school year. It's open weekdays 9-5; admission is free.
