Washington State University Review
Opened in 1892 as the state's agriculture school, Washington State University today sprawls almost all the way to the Idaho state line. To park on campus, pick up a parking pass in the Security Building on Wilson Road.

Museum of Art. The small Museum of Art has lectures, as well as exhibitions that might include turned-wood art, Native American art, or landscaping displays. Charles R. Conner Museum of Zoology. This museum has the finest collection of stuffed birds and mammals and preserved invertebrates in the Pacific Northwest. Abelson Hall, Library Rd. and College Ave., 99164. 509/335-3515. sbs.wsu.edu/connermuseum/. Free. Daily 8-5.
