An official Colonial Williamsburg property with contemporary furnishings, this 300-room hotel is adjacent to the HUZZAH! restaurant and the visitor center complex. You can enjoy the extensive free continental breakfast indoors or on the large patio—kids and adults enjoy making their own homemade waffles. There's gated free parking so you can abandon your car and walk to the free shuttle buses. Pros: good choice for families; suites are available; some double rooms have futons for children. Cons: if you want luxurious lodgings you might want to book elsewhere.

We stay here 2-3 times a year and feel that it is a great value. Perfect location, convenient path and/or bus access to the historic area and a guest/reservation staff that is as good as it gets.We try to go off season and have had good luck getting reasonable rates and packages.
