Halfway between Colonial Williamsburg and Virginia Beach, this complex of buildings stands on 13 beautifully landscaped acres. About half the rooms have a pink-and-green color scheme; others have a darker look, with cherrywood dressers and tables. Some rooms overlook the indoor pool in the atrium, and others have doors that open, motel-style, onto the parking lot. There's free wireless Internet, and it's free to borrow an Ethernet cord. Pros: v ery reasonable rates. Cons: basic hotel.
