Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel

Fodor's Review:

Modern is the word for this hotel's furnishings, from the bright, spacious lobby to the ample rooms and large suites. A ground-floor bar with dramatic 30-foot windows overlooks the Elizabeth—many rooms also have a beautiful view over the water. This property is convenient to the Waterside Festival Marketplace shopping area. Pros: the only hotel that is truly on the waterfront. Cons: again, parking—for Norfolk—is pricey.
