Hawthorn Hotel & Suites at the Governor Dinwiddie Review

Dating to the 1940s, the Governor Dinwiddie hotel in the center of Portsmouth's Olde Towne business district was beautifully restored in 2005. Guest rooms are furnished in reproduction Queen Anne with satin quilted spreads, ecru walls, and moss woodwork. Museums, restaurants, and the waterfront are within a few blocks.
