Timing & Precautions

Williamsburg can be very warm in summer and even in spring and fall. Be sure to carry water and replenish your bottles at the historic area's water fountains. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes since walking is the primary way to navigate Williamsburg's 301 acres. (There are horse-drawn carriages, not included in the price of admission.)
