Fodor's Review

Aerospace, astronomy, electricity, physical sciences, computers, crystals, telecommunications, and the Foucault pendulum are among the subjects covered in exhibits here. Older children and teens love the Ethyl IMAX Dome and Planetarium, and adults enjoy the Virginia Tech Solar Decathlon House, a working model of a green home of the future. The museum is in a former train station with a massive dome, and you can visit the café or gift shop without paying admission fees.
