Mary Washington Grave and Monument
Mary Washington Grave and Monument Review
A 40-foot granite obelisk, dedicated by President Grover Cleveland in 1894, marks the final resting place of George's mother. It was laid at "Meditation Rock," a place on her daughter's property where Mrs. Washington liked to read.
