Richmond, Fredericksburg and the Northern Neck Restaurants

The Brickhouse Run

The Brickhouse Run Review

Tucked away in a small alley in the historic district, this British pub occupies one of the oldest buildings in the city. Traditional and authentic pub grub includes fish-and-chips and shepherd's pie, and of course, a good selection of imported ales. The well-rounded menu includes American favorites like burgers and pasta. Salads are always a good bet, since the chef sources his produce locally, and desserts including crème brûlée are outstanding. Both the chummy bar area and the dining room are filled with British-theme accessories and memorabilia. Reservations are not required and dress is casual.
