Poppy Hill Tuscan Kitchen
Poppy Hill Tuscan Kitchen Review
In the heart of the downtown shopping district, you'll have to look down to find this cozy basement eatery, but it's worth the search. A "farm-to-table restaurant," Poppy Hill's regionally sourced produce changes seasonally. Warm earth tones infuse the space and rustic Tuscan favorites include hearty soups and salads, seafood stew, prosciutto-wrapped tilapia, and balsamic glazed chicken. The antipasto platter is a mountain of artisanal cheeses, crostini, olives, and charcuterie, and is big enough to share with four. Lunch is a great value with sandwiches and pasta dishes under $9. A nice list of chianti, sangiovese and other Italian wine favorites, both white and red, complements the menu. It is open for brunch on Sunday.
