Aficionados praise Alexandria's for its stouts and ales, especially the Bourbon Stoney Stout, aged in oak casks previously used to make premium bourbon. Inside, the atmosphere is slightly industrial and the menu is limited to foods grown or made in Virginia: peanuts, potato chips, chili, and a delicious beer-queso dip.
