The Grille at the Morrison House Review
On a quiet street in central Alexandria, this hotel dining room serves breakfast and dinner only. The cuisine is French and American with Southern influences and an emphasis on local ingredients. Entrées on the tasting menu rotate seasonally but include popular dishes such as a progression of scallops and also pork cheeks. Or try the oysters Rockefeller or burger topped with Virginia ham and Mountaineer cheese on toasted brioche. A pianist entertains in the intimate dining room on some nights. The Grille hosts an afternoon tea every third Saturday of the month for $38.
