You'll feel like you've stepped into a gorgeous Federal-period bed-and-breakfast at this luxurious boutique hotel just off Alexandria's busy King Street. With its parquet floors, crystal chandeliers, fireplaces, and furnishings faithful to the late 1700s/early 1800s, the hotel is often mistaken for a renovation rather than a structure built from scratch in 1985. Rooms have two- or four-poster beds, and all come with bathrobes, yoga mats, and a pack of fresh-baked cookies on your pillow. The highly regarded Grille restaurant serves American contemporary cuisine.

This inn is a delight. It is tucked off the main strret in Old town. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Cocktain hour is like stepping back in time... Bedrooms are very comfortable and clean. Had best night in piano bar: it was top entertainment with a lady named Pat playing the piano and super voices supplied my the locals. A must if you are in the area!!!!
