Shenandoah Valley Music Festival
Shenandoah Valley Music Festival Review
The Shenandoah Valley Music Festival brings classical, jazz, and folk music to the Allegheny Mountains on weekends from May to September. The events are held at the Orkney Springs Hotel, an early-19th-century spa that's now an Episcopal retreat. Arts and crafts displays and an ice-cream social precede each concert. Concertgoers can sit on the lawn for $14 or in one of two pavilions for around $21; call ahead to reserve tickets. A bus to the festival from Woodstock (I-81, Exit 283) costs $5.
