Fodor's Review:

This hotel is across the street from Virginia Tech, with a golf course, movie theater, numerous restaurants and shopping areas, and even a beach volleyball court nearby. The imposing entrance made from native stone doesn't look anything like a chain hotel. The rooms are modern and comfortable, with two phone lines in each one. Pros: close to Virginia Tech. Cons: no historical connection.
