Fodor's Review

Sharing the mountaintop with the star is the Mill Mountain Zoo. Asian animals are center stage here, including a rare Siberian tiger, snow leopards, and red pandas. Ride the Zoo Choo train for $2.

Mill Mountain Zoo Review

A kiddie petting zoo at the top of Mill Mountain. I saw exotic birds, snakes, red panda, monkeys, etc. Young kids, families should visit. Also, walk up to the Star which lights up at night. Its safe to visit Roanoke.
