Snow Sports
Liberty Snowflex Centre at Liberty University offers both skiing and snowboarding, a welcome addition for outdoor enthusiasts. Modeled after the European slopes that use this synthetic snow, the slopes on Candlers Mountain have built-in misting devices to keep them slick and enable year-round skiing. This is the first of its kind in the United States and is open to the general public as well as have reserved blocks of time for Liberty's students. Off-peak days are Monday-Thursday with rates of $5 per hour, and weekends are $7 per hour. Equipment rentals are available.
